1.What is Foundation Christian Academy (FCA)?

Foundation Christian Academy (FCA) is a Christ-centered private school dedicated to providing quality education that integrates academic excellence with spiritual development. We strive to nurture students to become passionate followers of Jesus Christ, equipping them with the tools for a lifetime of impactful living.

2. What grade levels does Foundation Christian Academy offer?

Starting Year 3 (20206-2027 school year), we will be offering Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade.

3. What sets Foundation Christian Academy apart from other schools?

At Foundation Christian Academy, we prioritize parental involvement, affordability, academic excellence, and spiritual growth. Our commitment to small class sizes (10 students per class), personalized attention, and a nurturing environment distinguishes us as a school where students can thrive academically and spiritually.

4. Is Foundation Christian Academy accredited?

With the assistance of the Herzog Foundation and other private Christian Schools, FCA leadership has begun the process of receiving accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

5. What is the tuition cost at Foundation Christian Academy?

Multi-student discounts are available for families interested in enrolling multiple students.
Tuition Rate for the 2025-2026 school year is $4,500. Multi-student discount is 10% off the second student, 15% off the 3rd student, and the 4th student is completely free. We also offer a 15% discount to church members that are in good standing with the church. 

6.Does FCA offer scholarships or financial aid?

The leadership teams of Victory Church and Foundation Christian Academy are committed to assisting every family interested in enrolling at FCA with tuition and scholarship opportunities. We welcome donations to support tuition costs, and in collaboration with the local and non-local donors, we are establishing a scholarship fund. Families interested in applying for any available scholarships will be asked to apply through FACTS. This resource will be available in the coming weeks. Multi-student discounts are available for families enrolling multiple students.

7. How can I schedule a tour of Foundation Christian Academy?

We welcome prospective families to schedule a tour of our new facility to experience firsthand the unique learning environment at Foundation Christian Academy. Please contact our Principal at Steven.Bishop@VictoryPeople.org to schedule a tour or fill out our Interest Form under our Admissions tab.

8. What extracurricular activities does Foundation Christian Academy offer?

The leadership team at FCA is actively exploring various extracurricular activities to offer in our inaugural year and to expand upon in the future. Currently, our focus is on developing programs in music, cross-country, and a range of life skills like gardening, beekeeping, and more. As we embark on our first year, we invite parents and supporters to volunteer and contribute to these specific areas of FCA. Together, we look forward to fostering growth and enrichment within our school community. At this time, before and after school programs are not being offered. However, it is our desire to provide these important opportunities for our students possibly in our first year.

10. How can I get involved as a parent at Foundation Christian Academy?

We encourage parent involvement in various aspects of school life, including volunteering, attending school events, teaching life-skill classes, assisting with administrative needs, and more. Your support and engagement are essential to the success of our school community.

11. What curriculum will Foundation Christian Academy use for teaching?

FCA will utilize the effective and Bible-centered curriculum from ABEKA. Learn more at www.abeka.com.

12.What does FCA’s school year calendar look like?

FCA’s school year calendar will be similar to that of Unit 5 in Bloomington-Normal.

13. What does recess and chapel time look like at FCA?

Every day, students will receive multiple recess times with their teacher to ensure they have ample opportunities for physical activity, social interaction, and a well-balanced school experience. Chapel will occur at least once a week with a major focus on God’s Word, prayer and worship. FCA students will be raised up and equipped in the Word of God and taught to love the Lord with all of their heart, mind, soul and strength.
